Snowy Road & Traffic Signs - UK Edition

£9.50

Our UK road signs sheet, ready for winter. Every one of the 84 signs has snow settled along its top, and each sits on a night sky with falling snow, so your town looks as if it snowed overnight.

It is the same set of signs as our plain UK Edition, the speed limits, warnings, blue direction signs, brown tourist signs, street names and traffic lights, so it fits a city or village layout you have already built and simply turns it to winter.

It pairs with The Christmas Village sheet for a full festive street, and there is a bundle of the two.

WHAT IS ON THE SHEET

42 road signs for 2×2 tiles: stop, give way, no entry, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 limits, national speed limit, no waiting, no stopping, no left turn, no right turn, no U-turn, ahead only, keep left, keep right, turn left, turn right, turn left ahead, turn right ahead, roundabout, roadworks, pedestrian crossing, crossroads, school, two-way traffic, level crossing, speed camera, low-flying aircraft, horse riding, wild animals, quayside, falling rocks, parking, accessible parking, EV charging, hospital, bus, cycle route, pedestrian zone and fuel

15 signs for 2×3 tiles: bus lane, 20 zone, 30 zone, park and ride, red route, and ten brown tourist signs: golf course, theatre, castle, steam railway, zoo, picnic site, vineyard, museum, abbey and marina

8 street names for 1×4 tiles: Main Street, High Street, Station Road, Church Lane, Park Lane, King Street, Market Street and Queen’s Road

8 direction signs for 1×4 tiles: Town Centre, City Centre, Car Park, Station, Hospital, Parking, Airport and Beach

11 small pieces for 1×2 tiles: three traffic light housings, red, red and amber, amber and green lights, a Belisha beacon, a postbox and two one-way arrows

WHICH TILES TO USE

Any colour. Every sign carries its own night-blue background, so the tile underneath never shows. If your cut wanders a little, cut just inside the line rather than outside it: we print on white-backed vinyl, so a cut on the wide side leaves a pale edge, while a cut on the narrow side disappears.

THE SNOW

The snow is set so it never covers a letter, number or symbol. On the long thin street-name signs, where the lettering sits close to the top edge, the snow is a lighter dusting.

WHY IT LOOKS RIGHT ON A TILE

Every sticker is sized 0.2mm in from each edge of the tile face, so it sits inside the tile’s bevel rather than riding up onto it. We settled that figure by printing candidates and sticking them on real tiles.

HOW IT ARRIVES

One A4 sheet of printed vinyl, posted flat in a protective A5 box. The stickers are NOT pre-cut. They print as a full sheet and you cut each one out yourself with small scissors or a craft knife, which is what lets us fit 84 signs on one sheet at this price. There is a fine crop mark at each corner to cut to.

Ordering from the USA? This sheet posts to you for £4.95 by standard airmail, or £12.85 tracked, with duties paid so there is nothing to pay when it arrives.

Compatible with LEGO® and other leading building-brick systems.
