The world behind the sheets
Every sheet in the shop comes from somewhere. Bard is the phantom artist who slips down the street at night and transforms it. The signs, the menus, the painted details, all left behind by morning. Nobody has ever seen him do it.
These are the places he has been so far, built in real bricks and photographed in our studio. Every sticker you see in these photos is on a sheet you can buy.
The High Street
A street you could walk down, with shopkeepers who know each other. The coffee shop opens first, the bakery has been going since before dawn, and every screen on the street is showing the same news.
Brenda Hart and her dog Chicho run The Daily Grind. Bakery Bob keeps The Golden Crust. Rick the Reporter is live on every screen in town.
The City Streets
The roads that join everything up. Real road signs, street name plates, a full set of traffic lights, and the art Bard sprays on the shutters after dark. There is an American street too, with New York and San Francisco signs.
Bard spends more time here than anywhere else. Look closely at any sign and he may have been there first.
Candlewick Lane
The same idea as the High Street, a long way back in time. A lane of candlelit shops with a tower at the end of it, and every shopkeeper wakes to find their signs transformed.
Morwenna Sage keeps The Last Light Apothecary, 89 labels on every jar and drawer. Imira the Seer watches the lane from the top of her tower.
The Airfield
Past the last house on the edge of town, a runway laid out on real baseplates. Numbers, centre lines, threshold bars and a taxiway, every marking lined up across the tiles.
Out in Space
Nobody knows how Bard got up here. The bridge of a deep space ship, all glowing screens and flight readouts, and an older capsule with switches, dials and warning lights.
Who lives here
The people whose shops Bard paints, and who keep his secret. Their portraits will be swapped for photographs of the real minifigures soon.
